RSO Series set for July 4th in Harriston

The season’s first RSO Series is planned for July 4th in Harriston.

Skaters of all abilities will take to the CITC‘s 200-meter banked track, completing a variety of distances ranging from 200-meters to 10km’s.

• DISTANCES: 300-meter time trial, 500m sprint, & Pro 10km elimination or Mainstream Open 5km elimination

  8 to 12 years old: 200-meter time trial, 500 & 600-meter races
• VENUE: 200-meter banked track

RSO #1 cancelled due to questionable weather, 2010 calendar shuffled

The first RSO Series of 2010 was cancelled because of questionable weather. Because the track was wet at 8am and it started to rain, organizers made the decision to cancel the race.

The RSO Series set for the weekend of July 31st/ August 1st will now be held in Toronto. Details will be posted later.

RSO Series #1 set for Toronto: June 13th, 2010

This year’s first RSO Series is scheduled for Toronto on Sunday, June 13th.

The weekend’s racing will follow the TBN Monthly Marathon taking place on Sunday June 12th at 8:30am at Hamilton Beach in Burlington. [Map to Hamilton Beach]

• DATE & TIME: Sunday June 13th 2010, registration at 9am, races begin at 9:45am
• VENUE: Father Redmond 400-meter track in Toronto [Map for directions]
• DISTANCES: 300-meter time trial, 500m sprint, & Pro 10km elimination or Mainstream Open 5km elimination
