A big thank you to all the skaters who supported the series. A huge thank you goes out to all the volunteers who worked behind the scenes putting the series together and who worked as officials, timers, lap-counters, place-judges, and with set-up & take down.

Toronto hosts 2nd RSO Series: Results & Pictures

The Toronto Inline Skating Club hosted this season’s second RSO Series.

With beautiful blue skies greeting skaters, thoughts were focused at setting fast times. Once warm-ups were under way, relatively strong winds dashed hopes of skaters setting blazing times. Despite the wind as well as lower participation than expected, racing was still fast, with skaters reaching personal- best times.

TISC’s Jade Pauley & Shannon Hegarty were the top senior skaters while NRS’ Paisley Perrie was the top junior skater.

The next and final series race for 2010 will take place on August 29th in Harriston.

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped with set-up, officiating, timing, lap counting, and cleaning up.
